Hoppy Easter!

Happy Eater Monday!

Hopefully you are reading this from the comfort of your home and not while you are at work… Because let's be honest, who wants to go to work on a Monday, let alone a Monday following a holiday that was on a Sunday? I am at work. I was on Friday as well. I guess that is the price I have to pay to have two days off for "Spring Break" in March…weird college work schedules.

Anyway, hopefully you had a very blessed and happy Easter. We did :)

Let week Herb & Mom sent me some Easter lilies at work. They stayed there so the cat wouldn't eat them. And, I can actually enjoy them for the 9 hours I am sitting at my desk. Nothing like smelling beautiful lilies in an old run down old dorm room turned office building.

We dyed Easter eggs.
Mr. Bojangles did not want to pick his color.
 So we forced him.
And by we, I mean I forced Jason to pick the cat up and make him sniff a color.
And yes, I am crazy.
By the way, he picked red.
 Same thing went for Dooley.
He picked blue.
Jason dipped his half in blue, then submerged it in yellow... Thus creating half green half yellow.
 Dyeing supplies.
Yes... I did all that for 6 eggs :)
But they turned out good :)
Then, Easter morning  (while Jason slept, because he doesn't condone forced egg hunts for photo opps) I took the boys to the back yard and made them have an Ester egg hunt.
Dooley won.
He likes to try and eat them.
For dinner we did a fish fry. We had ham last weekend, so we decided to change things up a little bit.

The appetizer was fried calamari, and it was DELICIOUS. The hushpuppies came next. We didn't like them, but Dooley did. And the fried fish was last. Once the fish came we were about to puke from all the fried food.

Anyway, hope you all had a great Easter!
